Celebrating Student Achievement at Last Night’s BOE Meeting
Posted Date: 05/22/26 (08:20 AM)
Last night’s Monroe Township Board of Education meeting highlighted the many ways our students continue to represent Williamstown High School and the Monroe Township community with pride.
We were proud to hear from our Board of Education Student Representatives, senior Kelley Chen and freshman Lilyana Yearicks, as they shared updates on their class goals, upcoming events, student initiatives, and the many things happening throughout the school community. It is always meaningful to hear directly from students and gain their perspective on what is taking place inside the classrooms and throughout WHS.

The Board also celebrated several outstanding WHS programs and accomplishments:
• WHS Girls Volleyball on an unforgettable 31-1 season and winning the Group 4 South Sectional Championship
• WHS Indoor Percussion for their championship performance at last month’s Wildwood Tournament
• WHS Indoor Color Guard for an outstanding season filled with dedication, talent, and competitive success

Thank you to our students, advisors, coaches, staff, families, Dr. McBride, and all of our Board of Education members for the time, commitment, and community pride that continue to make Monroe Township shine in so many different ways!
