Holy Glen 3rd Graders Bring the Regions of the United States to Life
![]() |
Yesterday, Holly Glen was filled with energy, learning, and school spirit as our third grade students proudly presented their “Regions of the United States” show in the cafetorium. Throughout the program, students brought their learning to life through lively songs, thoughtful student speeches, and moments of confidence and creativity that gave families a wonderful look at all they have been studying this year.

From coast to coast across the United States, students celebrated the many unique regions of our country through music and performance, opening the show with “New York, New York” and closing with a spirited ode to Hollywood. It was a joyful performance that highlighted not only what our students know, but also the teamwork, dedication, and enthusiasm they brought to preparing for this special event.

Families joined in the celebration to cheer on their children and share in the memories, making the day even more meaningful for everyone in attendance. We are so proud of our Holly Glen third graders for the hard work and commitment they showed in putting together such a fun and educational showcase.

We at Monroe are proud to celebrate experiences like this across our district—opportunities that inspire learning, build confidence, and create lasting memories for our students and families. Thank you to our third grade teachers, school staff, and administrators for making yesterday’s show such a success.
